HellooO, CANADA!: For all you Cloudy Collectors in the Toronto area, and especially for those of you making the trip this weekend, I can't wait to see you at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival! We've had quite a few amazing Canadian artists contribute their talent to the Collection, and I'm excited to drink some of that Canadian water, and see if it doesn't give a little more edge! I will have piles of stuff with me, including Cloudy Collection sets, some new Cloudy Collection buttons, screenprints, more letterpress prints, original drawings, and more. This will be the only place you can buy the overstocked t-shirts Elio and I made for Volume II subscribers - I only have a few left, and they'll go quickly. I am also debuting a mini-comic with a letterpressed cover called Three Bears, which is a tribute to a friend from the Cloudy Collection printers, Boxcar Press, who recently lost her life in a car accident. All proceeds from Three Bears will go to her surviving son via the Eamon Willoughby Trust Fund. I will be set up near the entrance to the Toronto Reference Library, at table 133. I'll be sitting by Cloudy Collection Volume I, Edition 1 artist, John Martz, and I'll be staying with Cloudy Collection artists Scott Campbell (from Vol I, Ed 2), and Dustin Harbin (from Vol II, Ed 1). I'm also excited to meet some artists who have contributed art for our June print set, as well as a few more people I hope to recruit for future editions. So many amazing artists! So come introduce yourself, and bring your jingly pockets! I can't wait to see everyone!
